DeVaney Stoneworks is the vision of Stew DeVaney, a DSWA level II certified Dry-Stone Wall craftsman, stone mason, and workshop educator in Asheville, NC. Stew is also an active member of the Dry-Stone Walling Association of Great Britain and The Stone Trust.

Stew DeVaney is a stone craftsman and artisan with a deep-rooted passion for natural stone and the stories they hold. Born from a childhood spent exploring the ancient stone formations of Lookout Mountain, Stew's journey and adventurous spirit has taken him from the mountains of Tennessee to the landscapes of Montana and Lake Tahoe, finally culminating in the establishment of DeVaney Stoneworks in Asheville, NC.
